My names Jacob Williamson, and I’m a graphic designer from a small country town in central North Carolina called Randolph. My areas of interest are logo design, branding and Identity, and more recently WordPress websites and the DIVI theme. I have an associates degree in graphic design from the Art Institute.

When I was younger I was more of a traditional artist. I first became interested in logo design in mid-2000. I was constantly sketching band, superhero and skateboard logos.

I started my journey as a professional designer in 2009 when I enrolled in the Art Institute. In my close to 10 years experience I have designed over 300 logos for clients all over the world. In 2014 I interned and then worked as an in-house graphic designer for CauseKeepers, a marketing firm specializing in local small business and nonprofits. I gained a lot of experience in providing full-service branding as an in-house designer but concluded that I prefer working freelance with clients who are passionate as I am, also allowing me to have a close 1 on 1 relationship with my clients.

I love the great outdoors. When I’m not working, I’m thinking about fishing, hunting, and shooting. I love sharing my knowledge about design, that’s why I created a blog to share tips and tricks that I’ve picked up over the years.
